National Fresh Squeezed Juice Week – Jan. 18-23rd. Some of us have done Breakfast-on- the-Go, let’s try Juice-on-the-Go! Purchase several gallons of various juices, cups with lids, straws and napkins. Set up a table at the entrance to your property first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon. As resident go to work or return from work, give them a glass of “fresh squeezed” juice.
National Cut your Energy Costs Day – Jan.10th. This idea could go in several different directions, based on how much money you would like to spend this month.
Low Cost – For a very low cost idea, create a flyer for each resident declaring Jan. 19th as National Cut your Energy Costs Day. Include several tips on ways to cut their energy cost. Here is a good list of ideas:

Higher Cost – Not only give each resident the flyer of tips, but include a low energy light bulb!
National Hugging Day – Jan. 21st. Purchase several bags of Hersey Hugs candy. Attach one Hug candy to a card declaring Jan.21st as National Hugging Day. The card could also say “here is at least one hug for the day”!
National Coupon and Say Thanks Day – Jan. 28th. This is one you can take in several different directions. You could create coupons for things like one late fee waived, one trash pick up(picked up from their patio), one window washing, etc. The possibilities are endless! Get your thinking cap on. I’m sure you will come up with a bunch. Send a coupon and a thank you card to each resident thanking them for choosing your community for their home.
FREE, FREE, FREE – this idea will be included each month and is completely free to us! Don’t take the easy way out every month by choosing this option, but it is a good alternative if you are short on time or money. Select several buildings and call each resident to ask how things are going. Let them know that you just wanted to call and make sure everything in their home was fine.
